AIDS Is Leading Cause of Death in Women

REALLY!? Now how did this happen? I read this article and was immediately embarrassed. It states that AIDS is the leading cause of death in women 15 to 44 and its due to women not taking proper precautions. Yes, it does state this is more so happening in developing countries, but still, it should have never developed into such a huge tragedy to actually be labeled as the leading cause of death for women. I also wonder who exactly is infecting all these women with the disease, I'm sure there are different stories for every situation, but I assume men are being infected too, as well as doing the infecting, So where are they on this list? I have asked so many people I know, that live here, in the good ol' USA, if they use protection and the majority have told me "No". I know its sad and shocking, but its reality. Is this where we are all headed? The death sentence of AIDS should be enough to scare safe sex into most people, but its not, because no one ever cares unless it happens to them or someone they are close to.

Its a scary thing to know that no longer is STD's and pregnancy the biggest scares of being sexually active, but now it can actually KILL you to be SLUTTY! Come on ladies, and GUYS, Lets be a little smarter with ourselves!! Don't fool yourselves into thinking, "oh this will never happen to me", because shit happens and it will happen to you. Remember that. Be safe, Use Condoms. =)
